In his current role, he has been instrumental in developing a custom designed CPQ solution for the company called QuickQuote. This solution automates the entire configure-price-quote process for PCCW Global’s customers; thereby cutting down the turnaround time for quote responses from several weeks to under a few minutes. This automation also ties into the PCCW Global’s overall digital strategy which aims at bringing increased automation by incorporating LSO (Lifecycle Service Orchestration), SDN (software defined networking), NFV (network functions virtualization) to its international connectivity solutions for its customers worldwide.
Divesh has over 24 years of experience in international telecommunication and has held several key positions within PCCW Global over the past several years. In his past assignment, Divesh was leading a team of senior solution consultants supporting sales to secure revenue by combining off-the-shelf and third party products & services to offer best-of-breed telecom solutions developed through consultative interaction with the customers. His responsibilities also included skilled negotiation and procurement activities with strategic partner, access and vendor management.
Divesh is an ONF certified SDN associate (OCSA); he is an active member of the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF); has a MEF-CECP 2.0 certification. He attained his MBA from University of Iowa, Tippie School of Management in May of 2006 and majored in Marketing & Entrepreneurship.
