Thananya Baldwin

Vice President of Strategic Programs, Ixia

Thananya Baldwin is the Vice President of Strategic Programs with Ixia’s advanced technology group, Ixia Labs. In this role, she has led ground-breaking programs enabling Ixia to introduce the world’s first 25GE, 40GE, 100GE and 400GE test systems. And most recently, under her leadership, Ixia unveiled the world’s first 50G PAM4 electrical lanes based Ethernet ports early 2017.

With Thananya’s direct involvement, Ixia’s Higher Speed Ethernet (HSE) products have won prestigious “Grand Prix” Best of Show awards at Interop Tokyo in 2009, 2010 and 2017 as well as a “Special Award winner for Testing in 2016. High speed Ethernet (HSE) products from her programs have been used in numerous high-profile, pre-deployment testing with top carriers, and data center equipment providers in North America, Asia, and Europe. 

In addition to running many of Ixia’s leading edge programs, Thananya actively participates in the IEEE 802.3 Higher Speed Ethernet standard bodies and Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) projects. She has been a voting member of IEEE 802.3 since 2008. Thananya has been with Ixia since 2001.

Thananya earned her MBA at Pepperdine University, and a BS in Engineering from Cal State Northridge.
