MEF Professional Certification Training Courses & Exams Available at MEF17 Event

Los Angeles, 9 August 2017 – MEF , the driving force enabling agile, assured, and orchestrated Third Network services, will be hosting two professional certification training courses and exams at the MEF17 global networking event, which is being held 13-16 November 2017 in Orlando, Florida. MEF is offering a MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional (MEF-CECP) refresh class and a new MEF Third Network Foundations (MEF-TNF) class with related exams during 8:30am – 6:00pm on 18 November. MEF-CECP is the industry’s popular vendor-neutral certification program that validates the key competency and skills required to design, market, deploy, and support Carrier Ethernet 2.0 equipment, networks, and services that form the foundation for future application and service innovation. Today, there are more than 5,100 MEF-CECPs employed by 440+ companies in 83 countries. The MEF-CECP refresh class is ideal for those who have passed the MEF-CECP exam but need to update their credentials and gain valuable insight into developments beyond CE 2.0.

MEF-TNF certification training helps students develop a concept-level understanding of key Third Network terms, processes, and elements. Knowledge and practice domains include LSO (Lifecycle Service Orchestration), SDN (software defined networking), NFV (network functions virtualization), Layer 1-3 connectivity services (wavelength, Carrier Ethernet, and IP), SD-WAN services, and use cases in all of these areas.
